Dr. Alicia Clark (President)

Dr. Clark is a licensed clinical psychologist and owner of Big Horn Psychological Services with her husband, Jeff. She is a mother of three and has a history of personal and professional relationships with private, public, and homeschooling families. She tries to follow and love Jesus in all her ways.

Brad Kremensek (Vice-President)

Mr. Kremensek was an educator for nearly 40 years. During that time he taught grades pre-kindergarten through college. He was also a school administrator and the founder of Three Peaks Christian School in Sheridan, WY. He and his wife Patti have been married for 45 years and have 2 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren. Brad is currently a lay pastor at First Baptist Church in Sheridan, Wyoming. He loves Jesus Christ and strives to serve him faithfully.

Marlin Norling (Treasurer)

Mr. Norling was raised on a farm in SE South Dakota. He has a BS & BA in Ag Business and Commercial Economics from South Dakota State university. He has 41 years of experience as an Ag and Commercial Banker. He recently retired from First Interstate Bank. He has been a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan for 20+ years.

Kimberly Reid (Secretary)

Mrs. Reid has been married to Mark Reid for 43 years. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. She has been a volunteer and on the board of Valor Academy for 3 years. Kim has been a mentor mom at MOPS for 5 years and has served at Sheridan Ignite Wesleyan Church for 14 years. Kim has been the CCI/GreenHeart International local coordinator for the foreign exchange student programs for 13 years.

Jerry Sommer (Development)

Mr. Sommer is a native to Wyoming and a retired oil and gas professional and entrepreneur. After selling his primary company 10 years ago, he continues to assist in starting new ventures and serving on business, charitable and faith boards. Mr. Sommer spends much of his time in the mountains hiking, fishing, shooting and praying. He and his wife Marianne have three daughters and 4 grandchildren with one more on the way.

Al Sparkman (Principal)

Mr. Sparkman has a bachelor's degree in biology education. He taught middle and high school science and coached basketball before completing a master's degree in educational administration and becoming a middle and high school principal in Mississippi and Wyoming. After 22 years as a building administrator, Al left public school administration, in no small part, to serve His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and became principal of Valor Academy in June, 2024.

Amber Van Dyke (Administrator/Director)

Mrs. Van Dyke has worked in the human service field with at risk families & children for 20 years. She is the founder/owner/director of Hope Adoptions and Consulting LLC, a certified Wyoming adoption agency. She is passionate about sharing the hope of Jesus and helping students embrace their unique gifts and purpose. Amber and her husband Paul have 4 children and ranch near Sheridan, WY.
